Kkoba Community Project – Farming for a Brighter Future (2016-2019)
The Kkoba Community Project focused on improving the economic, education and social conditions of children, young people and their families in Kkoba village, by building the knowledge, skills and experience needed to be self-sufficient.
The project helps families to build the knowledge, skills and experience they need in order to be self-sufficient. This is achieved through the buying and selling of crops from farmers into more profitable markets, the cultivation of a farm, apprenticeships for youth and family focused workshops.
The farming aspect aims to generate funds in order to assist with the construction of a new primary school so that the children of Kkoba can complete their education. This project is delivered in partnership with Hopeline Organisation and The Real Uganda.
